LA MARECHALE

Seeking inspiration from early 19th-century art, Alexandre Reza turned to the anonymous Madame Sans-Gêne portrait (c.1810) at the Musée de Versailles. The painting depicts Maréchale Lefebvre, wife of Marshal Lefebvre, wearing a classic necklace of the era—multiple pearl strands joined by a striking gemstone. Reza reimagined the piece as a set featuring a necklace, bracelet, and ring with naturally twisted pearls and a 33.50-carat Burmese ruby encircled by two tiers of diamonds.
