THE POUGET SUITE

The Pouget Suite began with a captivating Louis XV-style knotted ribbon, centered around a solitaire diamond that blossoms into a floral crown forming a necklace. The ring, bracelet, and earrings complete the suite, all inspired by designs from The Collection of Jewelry by Pouget, an esteemed designer, engraver, and jeweler.

GOUACHE RENDERING OF THE POUGET SUITE

Pouget was an artist of elegance and refinement, steering clear of excessive ornamentation. While he drew influence from the intricate nuances of the "Rocaille" style, he approached it with a sense of restraint, expressing its complexity through a delicate and thoughtful sensibility.
Alexandre Reza took inspiration from the light, ribbon-like, rococo-style jewels of Parisian designer Pouget from the 1760s, reimagining them into compositions of elegantly balanced flowers, bows, and playful, swirling leaves. A striking 148.88-carat oval yellow sapphire was set within a complex knot of shimmering diamond ribbons, sapphires, cabochon rubies, and emeralds.
This radiant suite is adorned with 744 diamonds totaling approximately 49.30 carats.
